Meet our Therapists
Genevieve Richter, PT, MPT, DPT, is an Air Force brat that has lived in Albuquerque for the past 20 years. She graduated from UNM in 2010, and has specialized in pelvic health for the past 10 years. She has a huge passion for treating under-represented patient populations that suffer from pelvic dysfunction, as well as a strong focus on pregnant and postpartum rehabilitation. Genevieve is just as passionate about raising her two young children and working in the yard with her husband.
Nora Quintal Calva, PT, DPT was born and raised in southern Mexico, and moved to Albuquerque to represent the UNM Women’s Tennis team. She married an Albuquerque native, and calls Albuquerque her home. She graduated with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of New Mexico in 2015. She believes manual therapy is an important aspect in the rehabilitation process, as well as healthy movement and strengthening.
During her free time she is a busy mother of three, she enjoys taking walks and bike rides by the river with her family.
Tara McCarthy Sanford, PT, DPT, WCS received her Doctorate in Physical therapy in 2013 and started serving as a pelvic health specialist not long after. Board certified through the APTA, she is only one of only 5 Women’s Certified Specialists in the state of New Mexico. Tara also helped to establish the UNM Women’s Health Residency program as part of my commitment to serving the needs of pelvic floor patients and has mentored many other therapists in the treatment of pelvic floor issues. Her background as a mother of 2 and as a fitness and yoga instructor has helped deepen my understanding as a medical practitioner.
She has a passion for golfing with her husband of almost 30 years, hiking with my dogs, and spending time with family. Tara delighted to be serving the community through Method’s office.
